Great all-around headphones. Sound quality is great. Good bass, and lots of detail. Physical build and design of user interface is great (buttons/controls/voice prompts).GENERALHeavy, but fairly comfortable to wear.The slightly snug ear cuffs might limit wearing time but provide great sound isolation.Bluetooth pairs with my Pixel 5 and Macbook at the same time.Cleer+ app on Android does not do much, but does it well.TOUCH INTERFACEThe call/song/volume controls on the R can respond well to taps and swipes.Aside from the R can touch controls, there is exactly one button on each can, making operation a breeze.Ambient mode touch interface works well: Touch hand (not finger) to R can to turn on Ambient NC. Touch hand again to turn on NC.NOISE CANCELLINGThe NC features work fine, although I’ve never been a fan of it.The Ambient NC mode is adjustable so you can set how much (1-10) ambient noise you’d like to hear.Small complaint: I usually disable noise cancelling and unfortunately, the hand touch only toggles between NC and Ambient NC. You can’t toggle between Ambient NC and NC Off.AUDIO INPUT – 3.5mmThere is a big level gain when the cans are OFF and connected with an audio cable compared to when they are ON and connected with an audio cable.

The noise cancellation that was listed in the reviews as the Best, is by far the worst. I have yet to try Bose or Sony headphones but the reviews and descriptions are misleading about noice cancellation. There were soo many updates required. I tried to do the new framework update 4 times. It showed that it was downloaded but would not complete and post failed. I would not recommend this and spend more to get a quality headset.

These headphones really do live up the hype! The noise cancellation is some of the best I have heard, and the sound quality matches. My favorite part of the Alpha headphones is the comfort. Many headphones give me headaches because they are tight and uncomfortable, but these headphones I can wear for hours on end and forget they are even there.If you are in the market for premium headphones, don’t pass these up – you won’t be disappointed!

Works just like it says! Sounds great, easy to connect, and excellent audio. Up/down controls takes some practice, but ambient works very well. I do wish the smart cancellation had some additional controls…

The noise cancellation is okay. I find they fit my head comfortably. The biggest problem is that the headphones lose the audio sync when I connect them via bluetooth to my Kindle Fire 10 (no problems with audio sync on my iPhone). So, I’m hoping there is a fix for this. Otherwise, I’m returning the headphones (the bad audio sync is a deal breaker).
