As a fitness fanatic, I’ve always struggled with finding earbuds that can keep up with my rigorous workout routine. The Cleer ARC3 Open Ear Earbuds have been a breath of fresh air in this regard. Their design and functionality have made them an integral part of my daily fitness regimen. The first thing that struck me about these earbuds was their comfort. The lightweight design and soft silicone earhooks provide a snug fit that doesn’t cause any discomfort, even during the most intense workouts. I’ve used them for everything from high-intensity interval training (HIIT) to long-distance running, and they’ve never once slipped out of place. This secure fit is a testament to the thoughtful design and engineering that has gone into these earbuds. The open-ear technology is another feature that sets these earbuds apart. It allows me to listen to my workout playlists while still being aware of my surroundings. This is particularly useful during outdoor runs where I need to be conscious of traffic and other potential hazards. The sound quality is exceptional, with a wide soundstage and clear vocals that make every beat and lyric a pleasure to listen to.One of the standout features for me has been the touch controls. They are incredibly intuitive and responsive, making it easy to manage my music and calls without interrupting my workout. The ability to adjust the volume, skip tracks, or answer calls with a simple tap or swipe is a game-changer, especially when I’m in the middle of a set or sprint. The battery life of these earbuds is also noteworthy. With up to 50 hours of playtime, including the case, I can go for days without needing to recharge. This has been a significant advantage during my week-long fitness retreats where access to power is limited. The reliability of the battery life has allowed me to focus on my workouts without worrying about running out of power. The IPX7 rating is another feature that I appreciate. Sweat and rain are no match for these earbuds, ensuring that I can continue my workouts without any interruptions. This durability is essential for someone who pushes themselves to the limit during every session. In conclusion, the Cleer ARC3 Open Ear Earbuds have become an essential part of my fitness journey. Their combination of comfort, sound quality, durability, and convenience make them the perfect companion for anyone with an active lifestyle. Whether you’re a gym rat, a runner, or simply someone who values staying fit, these earbuds are a must-have for your workout routine.

I’ve waited to review until I’d had and used these a good bit to be able to give my honest review and after a month of use I can say that I love these and would absolutely recommend them and buy them again.

I have never found a pair of ear buds that don’t cause me extreme pain in my ears, neck, shoulders, and head. I’ve tried all manner of ear buds, from super cheap to really expensive, and these are the first set of ear buds that I can wear all day without any pain whatsoever. It took a little getting used to the way that they fit because they did sort of feel like they were on the verge of falling out when I first got them, but this is just due to a different design than I’ve ever experienced and they’re actually quite secure and not going anywhere. I do find myself forgetting that I have them on and will walk around with nothing playing, wearing them for hours sometimes. Even as a glasses wearer, I don’t find myself having any problems with comfort or secure fit.

The sound quality is honestly the best I’ve experienced in all ofthe ear buds I’ve tried. I’m super impressed with the bass they’re able to achieve, and it is sort of a “sound is in your head” kind of experience. I’ve used them for listening to music, watching YouTube, watching TV shows and movies, and have never felt that I needed to adjust the EQ. They really just sound great for all uses, in my opinion.

I love the way that you put them into pairing mode – I did have to look up a YouTube video on how to do it because I struggled to understand the instructions provided, but it’s actually really easy and reliable, and one of the easier pairing experiences I’ve had. I have a few pairs of headphones/ear buds that are a major pain to pair and fall out of being paired randomly, and I’ve had none of those issues with these.

I haven’t had any issues with the touch controls not working right, though I don’t use these for running and it seems the majority of reviewers having issues with the touch controls are runners who experience sweat, so that could be why I’ve had no issues. I’m a stay at home mom who works part time from home and home schools my kid, so my typical use of these is while sitting at a computer working, or while walking around my home doing school or chores.

They’re not super noise canceling and they don’t have the longest battery life but that is exactly as advertised. Being open ear fit they couldn’t possibly be noise canceling (though they do actually drown out most sound pretty well if the volume is up high), which is actually what I need in ear buds as a stay at home mom who needs to be able to hear my kid at all times. I don’t want to give these a low review on noise cancellation or battery life because they’re clearly advertised as not being noise canceling, and also clearly advertised that the ear buds themselves only have a 7 hour battery life and the case has a 28 hour battery life, so it would seem unfair to lower their rating over something that you’re advertised before even buying. Maybe in future models they’ll be able to increase the battery life, but until then it is totally fine with me as someone who is home pretty much at all times and able to recharge without issue.

I am super happy with these, and so pleased to have finally found ear buds I can wear without pain. After years of searching, I finally found a pair that works for me and actually sounds great, too.

I’m not the kind of person to get these open style, over the ear earbud, I always use the type that stick right into your ears. I’ve always been skeptical about sound quality and comfort with this style. Well, I have to say I’m impressed!! I’ve been using these for 2 weeks and haven’t gone back to my old earbuds! These are very stylish, and come in a sturdy case that supposedly sanitizes the earbuds every time you return them to the case. A magnet holds them in place to charge and so they don’t slide around. I haven’t had to charge these yet, and I’ve been using them daily!! They connected quickly to my phone and we’re ready to use in seconds. They fit comfortably on the ear, they are the slightest soft so they aren’t uncomfortable, but they stay secure to your head with any movement. I honestly think these are worth the price and I recommend!!!

I own a variety of high-end audiophile headphones, ranging from the Westone W80s to the HiFiMan HE6 planar magnetic headphones. While I’m an amateur when it comes to audio, I can discern when something sounds high-end. These headphones come close to replicating some of the sounds I hear in those headphones, and in fact, the sound stage of the Cleer is superior to my Westone W80s, which is impressive considering these are open-ear headphones. The bass sound from these headphones is undoubtedly the standout feature. However, I find the high-end sounds a tad soft. Fortunately, the included case and app provide equilizer controls that I’ve used to enhance the high end.Apart from the exceptional sound quality, there are a few other notable aspects. I have specific places where I prefer to use these headphones and others where I don’t. As with any open-ear headphones when exercising outdoors, there’s a significant amount of wind noise. I’ve found a solution to this issue:https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00L4IH1IQ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1When paired with the deflector ear muffs, this product works well and is comfortable during cycling or rollerblading. It allows me to hear the traffic around me, which is a significant advantage. However, the sound quality is still affected by the environment, so I don’t use these headphones much for exercise. I primarily prefer them for watching movies on my tablet or TV. The soundstage for movies is excellent, and the equalizer presets enhance the experience even further. One minor quirk I’ve noticed is that the touch controls don’t function well in cold weather. I’ve used these headphones to listen to music while walking my dog in temperatures ranging from 40 to 50 degrees Fahrenheit, and had to switch to using voice prompts. Raising or lowering the volume using voice commands or moving to the next or previous song works seamlessly.I also dislike the swiping motion used to navigate the screens on the case. It’s a cool feature, but I’d prefer a quicker way to access functionality, like a single screen with a bunch of icons for quick navigation.Overall, these headphones sound great. If I could get them for around $150 during a sale, they’d be a one of the best values on the market. There’s a lot of competition in this market, like the Apple AirPods Pro 2, which also costs around the same and have some extra features. Considering value, I’m still leaning towards the AirPods as a better choice for Apple users.Overall, these headphones sound great and are recommended if you’re looking for something that goes over your ears.

I am familiar with the Cleer brand and wanted to try their new open earbuds after reading positive reviews of their previous model.I was intrigued by the touchscreen on the case since I’m a fan of my JBL Tour Pro 3 earbuds offering the same feature. Overall, these are a solid release for open earbuds. They’re comfortable with most of the weight being in the back of the loop where the battery is. These feature a rotating driver so you can find the right angle over your ear. I wish they expanded instead of just rotating.Sound quality out of the box was average for open earbuds, below average for in-ear earbuds. That’s par for the course with these. Highs were fine, mids were completely gone, and bass was lacking. However, download their companion app (for iOS or Android) and you can EQ them to sound much better. I upped the bass and these sound much better. I still don’t think they sound as good as the Soundcore Aerofit 2. Anker put a larger driver in those so bass is more ample. But these sound at least as good as the Shokz I’ve listened to.Call quality was fine, no complaints from either side. They support multi-point connection and I have them connected to my work notebook and iPhone at the same time. They will automatically switch to whichever is playing audio. Rated battery life is accurate with 10 hours per charge for a total of 50 hours of listening time. The case is large, even for open earbuds. That’s because the case includes USB C and Qi charging, also a touchscreen and a small mirror on the inside. What is the purpose of the mirror? There are UV lights in the case that can sterilize the earbuds. It’s a nice feature, not something I overly used since a quick wipe down with an alcohol cloth does the trick and takes less time. The touchscreen is a nice feature for quickly adjusting settings with the earbuds, including enable Dolby Audio, which I don’t recommend. The faux surround mode just made everything sound worse and took away from Dolby Atmos mixes in Apple Music, which work with any pair of Bluetooth earbuds and headphones.Overall, these are nice open earbuds. They’re packed with features for their price and sound solid when compared to Shokz and even Sony’s LinkBuds. However, Soundcore’s new open earbuds produce more bass, the carrying case is large because of the touchscreen and I found it easier to just go through the app, I would have liked being able to adjust the angle of the earbuds instead of just their rotation, and their bass could use more amplification (especially at higher volumes).Wait for these to go on sale, then they’ll be solid exercise earbuds.

I’ve been down the rabbit hole of finding the best earbuds for about 6 months. For those of us who wear glasses and don’t like our earholes plugged up this can be a challengeMain Factors are that I use buds for work, I drive over 60k miles annually and I NEED a handfree option for my work calls. I’m in both sales and trades so Im constantly filthy, working in and around equipment, while taking all sorts of important calls and to top it off, I like to listen to music when I’m on the job siteEnter the various contenders:I really like the earclip models, had 3 sets and the max battery life is about 6-7 usable hours because you can only cram so much battery into those types. (Owned Bose Ultra Open, Huawei Freeclips, Tozo Open EarRing, and SoundCore C40i) let me just say that I do like the earclips but the only model consistently delivering a mic good for calls in the car and job was the Huawei Freeclips, however no custom eq for music taste and if sweaty they aren’t the most secure on the earsOut of those 4 I kept the Huawei FreeclipsI decided to give these Cleer Arc 3’s a try and WOW the sound quality. Holy cow – these are totally several steps up in premium sound. They get LOUD, Im usually at 20-30% volume around the house. I use Dolby Atmos on my S23 Ultra and the sound is fabulous. Top it off with a good fit for glasses, really useful case (uploaded my cat Screensaver to it!), and 10+ hours of battery means I don’t have to charge them during a day’s work.Absolutely worth the price, get these and enjoy – trust me.PSThe Active Volume Control actually works and raises and lowers the volume based on my surroundings. Great for working on noisy shops, touch controls work great
