I have at least 4 different pairs of ear “pods” and this has surpassed even my Ipods. The sound has great clarity and no sound from outside the headphone gets in.The only con to this is that everything on the touchscreen is in Chinese? I just kept swipping left/right.My ears arent sore like when i wear the pods.

this is giving 40 hours to use it. but I never tried yet. I set up as English from china. it is very comfortable to wear. sounds I am ok with that. it is better than other expensive famous brands but this is not cheap either. I love pink color. I love screen window. even has mirror. I am happy with this ARC3 cleer Bluetooth.

Okay, so these are almost as good at music reproduction as my favorites, the JBL SoundGear Sense – True Wireless Open-Ear Headphones, but these have some added features that could make the difference if you have the extra $$$. One is they are Dolby Atmos enabled and the JBL’s are not, this is a great feature if you want to use them for streaming Dolby Atmos music or movies. The second is that the charging case has an LED screen that makes using some of the features much easier to do. And third, they have a really inventive UV sanitizing feature that only takes about 15 seconds total and should appeal to many people in our post Covid society. If you do not have the extra $$$ and music is your main use case, then go with the JBL’s. If the features listed appeal to you and you can spring for the extra $$$ without ruining your finances, the sound from these will still be well above average for the open style earbud. Highly recommended!

I’ve been using these open hear headphones for the last few days for everything from music to podcasts to conference calls. Here are my initial impressions…** Setup **This is probably the weakest point for these headphones. In principle, setup is really simple. You take the earbuds out of the case, pair them to whatever device, and start using them. However, for me it felt more complicated. For one thing, I had to download the Cleer app, then re-pair the device over Bluetooth, then it took a couple of tries to update the firmware, and then I could finally use it. Probably that’s just a one time pain. Now that I’ve paired it to my computer and my phone, it switches between them seamlessly.I do recommend looking at the user manual when you first set it up, since some things are not necessarily obvious.** Sound Quality **To put it simply: the sound quality is exceptional!I have some high end noise canceling in-ear buds from Anker (the Liberty 4) that I use when I want to really enjoy my music, so I compared those buds to these. On some measures, the Liberty 4 is superior, mainly because it creates such a strong seal around my ears so I really feel the bass and tiny details in a way that nothing else can match. However, the whole reason I bought open-ear headphones is because I don’t like the feel of having my ear drums sealed so tightly and the way it isolates me from surrounding sounds. That said, the ARC 3 performs surprisingly similarly to the Liberty 4, which is astonishing considering the ARC 3 is open ear! The sound range is very full, from the lowest lows to the highest highs. The midrange is well represented too. True, the default “flat” EQ setting isn’t particularly delightful to my ears. But it only took a moment to experiment with the EQ to find a setting that I liked. (FYI, there are several presets as well as a 10 channel EQ you can set manually.)In many ways, I actually prefer the sound of the ARC 3 over the Liberty 4. There’s something artificial about a sound that’s sealed so tightly within your ears, whereas the open ear buds feel to me more like when a great speaker system is filling the whole room.I’m not sure what to think about the Dolby Atmos compatibility. Atmos was designed to handle complex theater setups with many channels and many speakers, allowing some sounds to “appear” in the right place relative to the listener (e.g. an airplane sound would come from overhead, a car driving across the screen could also move in the sound stage from one side to the other). I don’t know what Atmos has to do with a simple 2 channel headphone device. When I turn it on, I either don’t hear any difference OR I sometimes hear a strange effect on vocals. I turned it off and haven’t missed it yet.** Phone Calls **The product description doesn’t say much about these headphones for making phone calls, but in my tests it worked well enough. The people I talked to said I sounded “normal” so it’s at least as good as speaking into the phone’s microphone.** Comfort **I wear glasses, so one of my concerns with earbuds is how they feel on top of my glasses. I’m happy to say that the ARC 3 is really comfortable for me. The biggest reason they’re so comfortable is because they sit outside my ears, so they don’t put pressure on the inside of my ears. The arms that curve around my ears are very soft and very flexible, so those are comfortable too. They don’t quite “disappear” (I still feel them and am aware of their weight) but they don’t bother me, even when I wear them for a long time.** Case & App Design **One of the unique things about the ARC 3 is that the case has such a functional screen built into it. After updating the firmware, there are 14 screens you can swipe through:- Play/Pause/Skip controls for your music- Dolby Atmos and related audio controls- EQ settings- Volume control- Step counter- Screen timeout settings- Timer (yes, just a random timer you can use for anything, not connecting to your music)- Find My Earbuds (plays a tone in the right or left earbud to help you find them)- Camera shutter button- Screen brightness control (for the screen on the case)- Background image selection (for the screen on the case)- Restart / Power Off / Reset Charging Case- Reset / Pair / Sync the earbuds- Firmware version numberAll of these functions work as intended, and it is nice to be able to access some of these functions on the screen rather than have to remember how long to push a random hidden button the device or dig up the setting you want inside the Cleer app.The idea of having a camera trigger built into the case seems like a nice idea, but right now it only works if you load up the camera through the Cleer app! At least on my iPhone, it can’t trigger the camera when I use the built in camera app. Bummer. One tradeoff for all this case functionality is that the case is larger and heavier than any other earbuds I own. Although I can technically still fit it in a pocket, it’s a tight fit.The Cleer App is just okay. The menus seem overly complicated to me, but now that I have it set up the way I want, I don’t plan to spend any time in there.** Summary **I really like these open ear buds! They sound amazing and they’re super comfortable! These will be my new go-to headphones for any time I don’t absolutely need noise cancelation.

I recently bought a pair of the Cleer Arc 3 open-ear earbuds, upgrading from the Arc 2 version.I really love the open-ear earbud concept, as it lets you be active without the worry of an earbud popping out of an ear canal, The Arc 3’s design works great even when wearing glasses! They are so “transparent” that I forgot I was wearing them an hour after turning off my music feed. The open-ear earbud design allows you more connection to your environment to earbuds or large headphones as you can easily engage in conversation when your feed is off without removing them! The first thing you notice is the sleek Smart Charging Case with a color touchscreen & clock. Not only does it support Qi Wireless charging in addition to USB-C charging, it also offers UV-C Sterilizing and a vanity mirror. The touchscreen which has multiple screens including controls for music track skipping, EQ settings, volume control, timer and more. It displays the incoming phone number when calls are received and lets you answer and hang up calls directly from the case. You can even set a custom screensaver image! The earbuds support up to 10 hours of battery life per charge with an additional 40 hours of charging from the case.Hi-resolution music quality is optimized with Dolby Atmos for a powerful sound experience. Telephone calls are also very clear with noise reduction microphones. Bluetooth 5.4 also supports pairing to multiple devices simultaneously! The Cleer+ mobile app gives you plenty of controls, from reporting battery status, EQ settings, and support for voice control, supporting short sayings, like “Next song”, “Volume Up”, “Pick up (for answering a call)” and more. The Arc 3’s also have touch controls on each earbud to perform music and call control. Hopefully in the future they will include a Google Widget to the app.I definitely recommend the Cleer Arc 3.

I was absolutely shocked at how great the sound is for these, despite them being open ear. Everything about these screams quality. The app has a ton of options, and the sound is very customizable in the app. The fit was excellent, and knowing that if it wasn’t I could easily adjust the arm over my ear was a welcome bonus. The case has it’s own little control screen that you can use to adjust various settings, as well. All in all this is a fantastic piece of hardware and software, that is wonderful for having an always-on listening experience while not missing the audio happening around you.
