Smokin’ value! I test most audio products with Prince’s FUNKNROLL. I like bass but not when it’s distorted, muddy and interferes with everything else; and 20 seconds into this song, the bass note hits hard, deep, tight and it doesn’t over power the rest of this song. Excellent reproduction. The NC is on par with the best in the industry as well.

Many more features than my Bose QC35’s at less than half the price. Couldn’t recommend more highly.

Without a doubt, the most comfortable over ear headphones I’ve ever owned. No ear pain, no struggling to fit them over my large head. Comfort, affordability, and incredible sound. Really difficult to beat. It’s Cleer (see what I did there?) these are great headphones. Buy them! You will not regret it. Thanks for making a great product!

This headphone is somewhat heavy and I had to remove it for awhile after an hour or so. Bluetooth connected quickly with my Poweramp app. I was unable to connect to Bluetooth with my Sony Walkman but I am pretty sure this is a Sony issue, not the headphones. The sound with ANC on and wired is clear and sounds great. Bluetooth degrades the sound somewhat but isn’t objectional. The 10 + 2 band equalizer in Poweramp helped to improve the sound. (Poweramp is an excellent Android music player app and is compatible with Google voice assistant, headphone gestures, and Android Auto). I found that with ANC off (ambient on) there is too much sound leakage, which I didn’t like, and there is a bit more treble and less bass. With ANC on the audio is better and there is less leakage. It was easy to find a good fit on my ears, certainly easier than other reviewers say. I did not test the gestures but assume they will work well.
So given all of that here is my review. The wired sound is excellent with ANC on and very good with ANC off, although that increases sound leakage. Bluetooth connects quickly and, as expected with Bluetooth headphones, sound was still very good with ANC on. I like that the FLOW II gives a soft voice prompt when any of the three setting buttons is pressed. The buttons are easily found when wearing these headphones and there is a tactile feel. The headphones are a bit heavy but are comfortable and very well padded. The pressure from the ear cups is just about perfect. I imagine I will get used to the weight fairly quickly. Build quality is very good. All of the needed accessories are included and the protective case is a nice addition. The headphones arrived quickly and well packaged and were ready to go out of the box.
I took the attitude that I would be returning these headphones after my evaluation. I had never heard of Cleer and they didn’t appear in the very subjective “best” lists I looked at online. I looked an a number of different headphones over several months for reviews, comfort (when I could find them in a store), features, and cost. For the price the FLOW II headphones are the best I found by far and I strongly recommend them. Definitely a keeper.

I was searching for my first pair of Bluetooth headphones, all my previous ones were traditional wired. Somehow came across the Cleer name, a relatively new company. I’m VERY picky about sound quality, especially bass, and performance so I usually stick with known names like Sony, etc. I inquired with Cleer about the sound quality of their headphones and was contacted by one of their sales reps Scott. He explained a lot about the technicals, and gave examples of what songs he’s used to test them. He suggested their Flow II. All sounded good, so I decided to take a chance on this company. I was VERY happy with the headphones. Great sound, great battery life, great build, great look and excellent swipe and tap navigation on the left earcup for volume up/down and song advancing. The noise cancellation is TOP NOTCH. You’ll hear some outside sounds if they’re loud and you’re listening at a low volume, but a normal listening volume, I could not even hear my very loud microwave vent fan while cooking. I kept checking thinking the fan was off, the ANC had cancelled it out so well. To hear someone who has come up to talk to you, you can just lay a few fingers on the left cup and it shuts off the noise cancelation until you take your hand off. Another excellent feature is that they have proximity sensors, so when you take the headphones off, the music will pause, and then start playing when you put the headphones back on. The earcups have soft padding, along with the underside of the head band.
Some time later I ran across a problem where the sound in the left cup was cutting in and out. I called Cleer’s customer service and a rep answered within what had to be 20 seconds – NO waiting in queue like most places! I spoke to Linda who was AMAZING. She was a pleasure to speak to and was not like one of those customer service reps programmed like a cold, script-reading robot. She was personable, professional and efficient. She emailed me a return shipping label to send the phones back, and then set me up to have a replacement pair sent out. A lot of companies make great products but have awful customer service. Not Cleer – they excel in both areas which is extremely important.
