I’m a big fan of over ear headphones because I find them much more comfortable than earbuds for multi-hour use, though every so often I’ll try a pair that just don’t seem to fit me comfortably. This is the case with the Cleer Enduros. Before I go on to whine about the fit, though, lemme tell you some good things about these headphones.First off, the sound quality at this price point is pretty spectacular. I’m not an audiophile and couldn’t explain the technical reasons why these things sound great, but all I’ll say is that I’m getting more than $150 of sound here. Nice, full bass, clear mids and crisp highs. The overall effect is a rich sound that blows away much of what I’ve heard in this price range.Second, the ANC is great. I’m not much of a fan of this feature as I don’t like to feel isolated from my environment, but I respect it when it’s done well. Right now I have construction going on 12 floors below me, jackhammers and cement trucks running 18 hours a day, and with the ANC engaged the noise is silenced. Even without music playing and with the ANC off it’s significantly muted by the headphones themselves. Now, here’s my only problem: these things kinda squeeze my head a little. I’ve been wearing them for about half an hour, and while they’re not especially uncomfortable I wouldn’t be thrilled if you told me I had to wear them for another 10 hours. The earcup padding is plenty thick and springy, but even fully expanded the tension in the headband is just a little too much for me. If you sit these headphones flat on a table the earcups will touch each other, so when you expand them to fit over an adult head there’s quite a bit of resistance trying to bring those earcups back together. If the fit on my big head was a little more comfortable these things might become my all time favourite headphones, but the comfort issue forces me to knock off a star. Overall, though, these are excellent.

The noise cancelling is good, there’s a little bit of a hiss when it’s active and i feel a bit of a cabin pressure at times. I don’t use the NC feature for long periods at a time. I actually use the ambient sound more than the NC, and the ambient is really good imo. things come through naturally and it gives me good awareness of the environmentThe comfort is ok, for me the clamping force is a bit tight, especially with my glasses on, but over time it’s getting better. The pads do cause ear sweat, so if you’re in a warm climate, you can’t get away from thatThe buttons are easy to use, and i much prefer them over touch based controls.multi device is good too, i get trouble at times connecting to my windows laptop, but i think that’s a windows thing, or my specific wifi/bluetooth chip in my pc, all other devices it works just fine.the battery life is really awesome, in the month or so i have owned these, i charged it three times. the 60 hours battery life is legit.there’s little to no EQ shift between the NC mode an the other modes so music sounds consistent.as for sound, it works for me. good highs and mids, clean tight bass. ( and the app allows you to EQ them, and the setting is saved on the device, so it’s always there ) the bass is punchy, and it doesn’t bleed into the other parts of the sound, i really just wish there was a bit more bass extension to get the lower sub bass frequencies. the lower rumble.call quality is good, for work, no one ever complained about not hearing me well.overall, given that these were on sale, it was not a buy that i regret, and i would recommend this product.last thing, i wished they didn’t do away with the 3.5mm jack, but i keep the usbC-3.5mm cable in the carry case at all times.I have a couple things that i would like to see on the next version of these @cleer if you’re watching.1) include a hard case with the product.2) more bass extension3) more fine tuning EQ. 5 bands just doesn’t cut it, give us 8 or 12.4) work on the NC hiss and slight cabin pressure feel.other than that, very solid product. 8/10

I’ve had these for over a year, so I decided it’s a good time to write a review. The sound quality is and always was great. Battery life is AMAZING- 1% battery can last you at least half an hour usually. They’re super durable and sturdy, haven’t been damaged even with me dropping them left and right. They honestly FEEL like brand new- the only complaint I could think of is that the headphones itself are loud. Like, they squeak when putting them on and stuff. That’s not a big deal to me at all though, its quiet enough that only you can hear it. They are nice and loud, maybe a little less than I would have liked but then again I do have hearing problems so they are probably louder than I think. If you’re debating-get them! They’re amazing!Update- I’ve now had these for 2 years and still love them. However, they have suffered some wear and tear. Sound still sounds great, but one of the ear cuffs has come apart from its frame. This hasn’t affected the sounds quality and they still function as nothing happened. Im keeping my 5 star review because they have been perfect for 2 years other than this small thing. I’ll attach a pic of the ear cuff.

12 month review..Great value for the money. I can barely tell the difference from my much more expensive Bose..Very comfortable, and durable. I have a 7yr old who wears them and the fact they don’t have any rips, tears, broken speaks to the durability.Would I buy again? Absolutely, I tell my friends all the time to get these.

This is a true noise canceling pair of headphones with great sound, design, and app support. There is the active noise canceling mode and ambient noise modes. You can use ANC mode even without playing music. The noise canceling is superb and great.Design – super straight forward – reminds me of the simplicity of bose. There is a a raised groove that makes it easy to turn on the headphones and also cycle between the modes. Easy to press buttons without having to take them off to press. The build is high quality – metal top, generous cushioning, and clean design. Sound is balanced, full, and immersive. The app equalizer serves as an adjustment if the default sound doesn’t fit your tastes. The app isn’t super advanced but it functions as a nice companion for adjusting the ambient noise level, provides multimedia buttons, and battery life of the headphones. The 60 hour battery life seems lofty. Either way – the battery life is solid for a wireless headphone.I was skeptical but I am now a believer of Cleer. It will give Bose a run for it’s money.
