So far I’m not using these earbuds with the added dongle as I’m just using it on my phone. Connecting to my Samsung was as simple as any other earbuds. I opened the case, made sure they were in pairing mode (you may need to press the button on the back of the case) and then they showed up as available when I was in my Bluetooth settings. Easy peasy. I’m not sure why some others have claimed you can’t direct connect, you can, or at least I can on Android.Sound for me is good, and the noise cancellation is excellent. I have another set of Sony earbuds and this is equal. The buds do stick out a bit further as they are more designed for gaming in mind. I don’t find them that obtrusive but they are not as discrete as my other pair. I did find these stayed in well when I was walking. You do sort of screw them into your ear so that might help. If you were doing a very active activity with lots of shock (jumping) I could see these coming loose. They aren’t designed for sport though so that seems like an unfair knock. I think for gaming purposes there is nothing wrong with these. They would be comfortable to use for hours.

I tried these with my Nintendo Switch and they worked perfectly! I’ve tried to use the Switch’s bluetooth functionality for headphones in the past but I have found the latency to be too much to really enjoy it, however these do a great job in that department and sound really nice as well. They are a little quiet though, you definitely need to disable the “safe volume” setting on the Switch to hear it well. Not sure if it’s as quiet on other devices though.

I don’t like wearing headsets and wanted to get earbuds that are easy to use, have a good mic, and also sound amazing, so these are definitely worth it for me. I think they work best on PC because they’re not necessarily designed for the PS5 when it comes to changing audio/voice mix. Luckily, the workaround is you can plug them into any laptop and change the settings so that when you use them on PS5, they’re up to your standards. All in all, even though they’re a little expensive, they’re the best all around gaming earbuds you can buy right now.
