CB –
As someone who has used and owned a LOT of earbuds, these are quickly becoming my favorites for a LOT of reasons.
FIT:
The fit is surprisingly stable and solid, despite not fitting INSIDE the ear. If you’re doing an activity with LOTS of head movement (like a racquet sport), they might not be very practical, but for jogging, working out at the gym, or non-sports-related exercise, they hold on like a champ.
SOUND QUALITY:
This is going to be very context based. As these are open-ear style, you’re not going to have sound isolation that provides what you’d commonly think of as “high quality” sound. When you’re in a quiet environment, however, the sound is actually quite good! The thing that surprised me was that despite being “open ear”, it was almost impossible to hear music being played on them only a few feet away. So, privacy on these is good, and the best quality sound you’ll get will be when you’re in a relatively quiet environment.
OPEN EAR DESIGN:
The good thing about these earbuds for safety is the “bad” thing about them for sound quality. These are meant for safety, not sound isolation, so I’m VERY happy with them overall. I wore them while working in a busy warehouse, and I’ll admit, it was a bit tough to hear my music without turning it up higher than normal. Also, if you’re listening to an audiobook or podcast, catching every word is going to be tough with surrounding noise interfering.
All of that, however is a welcome tradeoff for the purposes of safety. You need to be able to clearly hear cars, bicycles, and other pedestrians coming while exercising, so on that, these excel. No points deducted for sound quality because these are meant to allow surrounding noise in.
CONCLUSION:
Good fit, great battery life (especially with the extra large battery inside the case), good style, and ease of use makes these a great choice. They’ve got a distinct look about them which I appreciate, and I’ll say that there’s really no need to download the app (which currently has pretty low rankings for Android). They work and sound just fine out of the box.

I haven’t seen this kind of earbud before and I’m *really* pleased with them. It hurts when I wear regular earbuds in my ears for even a short amount of time. (I’ve been seeing lately that it’s not good for your hearing to use them anyway). Another problem for me with the usual type of earbuds is they get dislodged really easily or even just fall out of my ear if I move wrong, despite trying all the differant attachment sizes. This is the perfect solution for me.
They’re small and come in a convenient charging/storage case. The sound quality is really good. I wasn’t sure how they were going to work with my glasses, but they fit right under them.
Can’t wait to use these and not hurt my ears!

Update: After few days been using the Cleer Arc 4 + it becomes uncomfortable for longer use. The silicone hook is hard and it’s digging to my ears because of the weight of the earbuds.
This is my first Cleer Audio device/ Cleer Arc 4+ and I’m amazed how good the sound and built quality! It’s loud and and feature rich.
The only thing I don’t like is the charging case doesn’t show its remaining battery in the app!

I usually have trouble with in-ear earbuds because they start to hurt after wearing them for a while. These are much more comfortable and fit my ear by not putting any pressure inside the ear at all.
They stay very secure during workouts and running — no slipping or falling off. Sound quality is pretty clear with a noticeable stereo effect, and I like being able to hear my surroundings. Great option for sports and daily use.

The Cleer ARC 4 Plus is one of the most comfortable open ear earbuds I’ve tried. Since nothing goes inside your ears, they’re easy to wear for hours with no fatigue.
Sound quality is clear and well balanced for an open ear design, great for music, podcasts, and calls. Bass is natural (not booming), and call quality has been consistently clear. I especially like being able to stay aware of my surroundings when walking or working.
Battery life and build quality are solid, and overall, they feel premium and thoughtfully designed. A great option if you want comfort, safety, and everyday usability over full isolation.

These are horrible in every way. The sound is tinny and they are uncomfortable. You are better off buying $30 earphones, they will sound better.
UPDATE: Cleer reached out to me and resolved the sound issue…turns out it was my computer. They sound great on my phone—surprisingly clear and full sound for open earbuds. If you are looking for this style of earbuds, these are the ones to get.
